The Year 2014

The year 2014 should bring the United States and Nations round the world, more the civilized Nations a clearer understanding to work together, so that we can together stop hunger; address education, bring clean water to so many millions, foster a better health system both here in the United States and all over the world.

The passing away of Nelson Mandela brought so many World Leaders and opened the gates to a better understanding and reconciliation. That handshake with Raul Castro, that greeting of affection to the Brazilian President, that address to the world by President Barack Hussein Obama; was a sound representation of what most of us had in mind and rejoiced hearing his sentiments.

Closer to home we are addressing Sequestration and how to pay our debt to the Chinese government. Lucky for San Francisco where I reside we have 38 cranes in the air; meaning 38 projects building thousands of units. We are a booming City in all of the United States.

As often happen most of the units are for the filthy rich; costing millions and catering to those that have the money to spend. In San Francisco, clearly we have seen gentrification. The removal of poor people by making things expensive; forcing those that have lived in one place for a long time to seek fresh pastures, elsewhere.

One in four children go to bed hungry in the United States. One in three seniors go to bed hungry in the United States. We say we are a Super Power but what Super Power fails to provide succor to those that need help most? The situation in San Francisco is the same.

As an Environmentalist I must address the carbon footprint, contamination, mitigation, liquefaction and flooding, abatement, and the toxic particulates and more. Factors that adversely affects our health. Right here in San Francisco there is a lot of talk about the above; but little action. Climate change and Tsunamis are upon us.

We have our work cut out, working at our new office at Executive Park by Candlestick Park. We address Community Engagement, Workforce Development, Violence Intervention and Prevention, Quality of Life issues. We help certify small companies, we address Environmental Issues, Health, Education and more.

We have embraced all segments of the population Blacks, Whites, Asians, Pacific Islanders, Native Americans, Latinos, and all those that need help.

Our endeavor to help the Buffalo Soldiers has been a singular focus that we are addressing and taking baby steps. We aim to have a Buffalo Soldiers' Museum.

Underlying all our efforts children, youth, young adults, and those that need help most; our growing segment of single mothers. We cannot ignore our many single mothers rearing children with little or no help. Each child must be cared for, loved and nurtured and if we do so; God will bless us.

My partners from all walks of life bring people together. We have the ability to have direct access to local, state, and federal leaders. This ability helps us address issues, offer solutions, and with hard work bring about resolutions. We have a stellar record and are proud of our hard work that has paid rich dividends.

Our Non Profit Southeast Sector Community Development Corporation has been under the radar doing good work.

As the Director of Environmental Justice Advocacy we announce our issues and find solutions. We ask you all our readers to wish us well as we continue on this journey together to best represent, humanity. God Bless You All. We thank our Webmaster Joel Skidmore for his continued support all these many years.
